Twitter Follow MeIf you’re trying to establish a website presence for your company or business, you’ve heard this from somebody before: “you have to be on Twitter and Facebook.” You see the appeal in Facebook. Facebook hits record traffic every month, received 500 million visitors in June, and you “get” Facebook because you frequently use it yourself. However, you just don’t “get” Twitter. Twitter looks like gibberish to most people with @’s, #’s, and weird-looking URLs (short URLs). After all, you think Twitter is just for teens to tell their friends what they’re doing every second of every day. So why is Twitter such a big deal and why are people telling you that you have to be on Twitter?

Google Takes Twitter To The Next Level

Google Twitter PartnershipThere has been a storm of updates lately over the latest developments between Google’s partnership with Twitter. Not only did Google add the Twitter Follow Finder, which is a tool to help find other Twitter users who have shared interests based on the people they’re following, but Google recently launched a new search feature that allows users to get a live Twitter stream for any topic. The Twitter app is also coming to the Android.

Wonder what people are saying about a new movie? Google the title, click Show Options, and then click Updates.  You’ll be able to catch 2-4 tweets every minute concerning what people thought about the movie.  I tried this out for the new Steve Carell movie, Date Night. …
