Upgrade Google Docs StorageI love storing all of my files in Google Docs because I can access them anywhere regardless of where I am or which computer I’m using. All client files for my business are stored right in Google Docs and I frequently store PDFs, which end up taking up a lot of storage space. None of your Google Docs file formats count against the 1 GB of space that Google grants to you for free, but if you’re storing PDFs and other file formats, these PDFs end up eating up a lot of storage space.

Many people have asked me whether they can expand the 1 GB of space that’s allowed in Google Docs. If you want to expand the amount of storage you have, you’re able to purchase extra space from Google at very low rates. 20 GB of storage will cost just $5.00 per year and you’re even able to upgrade to as much as 1 TB. You can uprgrade your storage here if your interesting in upgrading. The upgraded storage applies to all of your Google accounts including Gmail, Google Docs, and Picasa Web Albums.

Here are Google’s rates for expanded storage:

  • 20 GB ($5.00 USD per year)
  • 80 GB ($20.00 USD per year)
  • 200 GB ($50.00 USD per year)
  • 400 GB ($100.00 USD per year)
  • 1 TB ($256.00 USD per year)
